Gulls at Simmons Island

Gulls at Simmons Island. 2016. Gulls gather on Simmons Island beach in Kenosha, WI. I observed a few gulls diving into the icy water to collect pebbles. Some were almost as big as their heads. The pebbles were carried onto shore and carried while walking along the shore.
