Frozen Port of Kenosha. 2016. A duck gracefully swims through the frozen waters of Lake Michigan. Wisconsin's coastal waters of Lake Michigan tend to freeze and create tiny glaciers. Piers, beaches, and boulders glaze over with ice. Wildlife remains active. Lake effect cloud formations are prevalent year long but better seen in the winter.
